Hey Guys,

Has anybody used at least 2 of the following 4 products (3 or 4 would be even better of course). If so would you mind sharing your results, comparing/contrasting? I checked out the good guy alpha thread but didn't get too much out of it for my purposes. Anyway, here they are:

A314 : Have not used but read that the reformulated product is not nearly as good as the older version.
Ascend : Used a sample, didn't get much out of it. Also the odor is way too strong for me, despite using heavy cover. In all honesty I did not test it thoroughly though.
C4: Have not used.
True Alpha: Have not used.

As you can tell, I am looking for a straight up respect formula even perhaps bordering on intimidation targeted towards both males and females (serious corporate work environment, adversarial business meetings etc...) for the most part. Not really looking for attraction from females but this is not a bad side effect . I've tried Corpo already and didn't get much out of it. AV does get me some respect from males or perhaps just friendliness- not really sure.

A314 old version: Awesome. Tested up to Rev17. Pure respect and trust. People stand back and listen. Old style alpha male. President Eisenhower.
Ascend: Pure gold too. People open you. People get close to you. People have a lot of respect, but also TELL you.
True Alpha: Ok, half the effects of Ascend and A314. Not top notch. More like suave, toned down. Not intimidating. Brad Pitt?

Ascend is the easiest to pull off, best price/quality. old A314 is far more difficult to pull off, but has more potential if you can be REALLY assertive.

ascend over the new a314. you just have to get over the smell which i couldn't. i had the spray. i heard the oil is just as effective without the overpowering smell

Oil is really smelly. Which you can expect with 1mg of pheromones a drop. Use a 60's, 70' or 80's powerhouse scent to cover. Aramis, Kouros, Ralph Lauren Polo, anything really strong.

Yeah, I have the oil based Ascend sample. The only thing I know of that can overpower Ascend is a cologne by the name of Yatagon- the most foul smelling sh*t on the planet. Think Godzilla vs King Kong- wouldn't want to be close to either when by themselves and even more so when fighting!

Any thoughts on the new A314 vs C4? Thanks.

Dude,

The oil reeks all the way down to the 4th zone in Dante's 9th level, don't even want to know what the spray is like!

Any thoughts on the new A314?

Hey SS. I've got Yatagan too. A few bottles of the stuff from the late 00's and a few 80's bottles which are far better.

This is my wardrobe:

Quite a selection. But I can only use stronger fragrances with Ascend.

Never used the new A314 or C4. I am interested in C4 btw. And A314 Ultra Fine Edition (Which is expensive!!)

Yatagan sends shivers down my spine Zen, and not in a good way.

You have a very impressive collection there, far more extensive than mine. I basically rotate Aventus, Silver Mountain Water and a few cheapos here and there. I like Creeds in general but never understood the allure of GIT though, to each his own.


BTW: Have you ever sampled Amouage Reflection Man?

Went to a couple of samples of Reflection. Not bottle worthy but a real masterpiece. Not my thing though, not my style.

The problem with SMV and Aventus is that it's really clean and doens't go well with pheromones. I usually try dirtier scents that accentuate the dirty smell of phermones.

Btw, today I'm wearing interlude man. That goes very well with pheromones. Wore 2 drops of Ascend with it, worked great!
