Glace, FastBurn revision
02-29-2012 10:46 PM

Hello everyone,

All of the 'FastBurn' Glace samples have been prepared, and will be shipping out tomorrow and Friday for those who have requested them.

There are 2 versions of the glace, the first being in an alcohol base with 15% DPG, and the second being in a very light silicone base.

I'm sending out 5ml testers of both types.

For those who volunteered to test the new bases, please review them in this thread whenever you receive and have a chance to test them.

Thanks everyone, hope you like them!

Cheers,

Chris @ Alpha

Awesome, i didnt request one, but awesome.

So compared to the current version of glace. What is the difference when you say a " light silicone base"?

Based on your expertise. what is the duration for each version? current version /alc-dpg/ lightsilicone. and diffusion properties.

That's good news, Chris. I requested them but never got a reply, does that mean I was too late? I'd love to try it out as I've got two bottles of the normal Glace which haven't worked for me thus far.

Poor timing on my part. I also just received to bottles of Glace. Obviously, based on my current living area, I will be using the 'slow burn' versions.

That's wonderful Chris! I can't wait to try it and report back to you! Hehe I've been wearing the current "slow-burn" Glace almost daily, I know how that gem behaves pretty well now; so I should be an excellent lab rat for youGood

Way to go Chris! This is exciting !!! Party2

Is the carrier the only thing changed, or is the formula reverted back as well? I really think the negative self-effects that some are experiencing are a result of the formula itself.

Even if you did not receive a response yet by PM, as long as you sent me your info already I'll send out the FastBurn glace testers to you tomorrow and over the weekend. International requests may take a bit longer...

@ dbot: the formula has been reverted with these samples, to the original formula, plus the addition of Molecule A.

Also dbot, just a hunch here: Spray on some of the glace you have, and add a few sprays of DHEAS. See if that makes it more or less what you had originally experienced.

A light silicone base is one that will evaporate 98% (2% non-evaporable) within 6 hours. The current formula leaves about 10% on the skin which is non-evaporable by itself, but the idea is it will diffuse the pheromones with sweat and skin oils (which may not work so well in cold climates, something I never considered before).

The light silicone version should be most pronounced for 4 hours at 70 degrees F, lasting up to 6 or 7 hours in total. The light silicone version sprays more of a fine mist, and does not feel too oily on the skin. It stays wet for about 45 seconds at 70 degrees F.

The Alcohol version should be most pronounced for about 3 hours, with effects lasting about 5 hours in total. Multiply these numbers by an extra 30% or so for colder climates.

Personally, I like the light silicone base better than alcohol - and now that I've had some time to experiement with it, I like the light silicone base better than what we've been using for a while.

I like the formula better as well, now that it has been reverted in terms of it's composition.

Only time will tell in the court of public opinion, when you guys have a chance to try out the testers.
