Pherotruth will experience a service interruption for approximately 15 minutes at some point today. The reason for the outage is that server has generated a potential hardrive failure notification and we have requested the datacenter to copy the data onto another drive and replace the one at risk of failure. We do not have a time that this will take place yet, but we will try to give everyone as much advance notice as possible. Thank you for your understanding.

Consider some high-end perfumes, I'd suggest Montale. This was my review:

http://pherotruth.com/Thread-Montale-Perfumes

Nice thing about this colognes/perfumes is that they are long lasting and have very good projection. You can apply early and the morning and expect to detect them into late in the evening. Their scents are very unique(at least to non-Arabs), many being oud-based. Ideal for pheromone cover.

Another brand (I think a bit more expensive than Montale) is Bond No. 9.

Best,

Thanks for the replies everybody. I didn't realize I had gotten responses, since my subscription to the thread was off somehow.

I ordered some Montale samples from Lucky Scent. They didn't have the Golden one. So that's one of the best ones?

Also, in another thread somebody mentioned this Millesime clone: The reviews indicate that it smells exactly the same, but that it lasts longer. Has anybody else tried it?

I hope you enjoy the Montale samples. Keep in mind these are very different perfumes, some may like them, some may hate them.

Millesime Imperial is a great scent, has a fresh/aquatic vibe with watermelons thrown in. The problem is longevity for me (2hrs tops), I guess fragranceshop's product may be a better option than the original.

Best,
Chaotic

I have TFS's Millesime Imperial oil, and I use the real stuff at least 3 times a week. TFS's version is very good, but it's missing the very top sea salt/aquatic note the original has, which imo, really kicks off the original fragrance. I use the oil as a supplement with the real thing, which lets me stretch the bottle, and amps up the longevity of the application.

Thanks, As3! I'll dab the oil in hot spots, like a little in the crooks of my elbows and the backs of my ears, and then spray my wrists and neck with the real stuff. I'll then blot my wrists on the elbow spots to let the oil mingle with the cologne, et voila! I usually get a good 6-8 hours from doing it like that.

The Fragrance Shop has clones for Millesime Imperial, Armani Code, and 1 Million. Any others I should add to the cart before I check out?

Chaotic, you mentioned Himalaya in your thread about the Montale perfumes. They have a clone of that one too:

Thanks again!

Another TFS oil that's gotten a lot of use from me is Michel Germain Sexual. The oil is extremely potent and lasts all day. Case in point, I put it on about 16 hours ago, and can still smell it fairly well. As far as the range, it's easily the sort that trails behind you a bit. I can't say for certain whether or not someone can smell it from a distance, but you can definitely walk by and have people smell you.

As for the scent itself, it's of the fresh/aquatic variety, but not so much tropical fruit like Aqua di Gio or even the melony Millesime Imperial. It's nice, but I do like MI better. Worth getting a sample vial, at least. That alone will last you a long time. I probably use a total of half a drop or less spread all over for a single application, and my sample vial is still over half full from at least a dozen uses.

All the long term mones users are telling me that I have to work it first then the mones will enhance the moment. If this is the case, what's the use of a "long range" cover scent? All you need is a nice scent to cover the smell of mones.

A smile, another smile...wow! this combo is working well !.....@##$@@!! there was ketchup on my forehead Mosking
