I'm sure nobody on this forum would consider taking a dog just to hit on women. I've had two dogs over the past 25 years, both rescued. My current dog has been with me for 11 years now.
But you don't need to own a dog to walk a dog. Many friends, neighbours or relatives would be glad of some help from time to time, as long as you are capable and reliable with animals.
I'd say that about 90% of women love animals, but you'll get the most attention from women in their 30s or 40s who never had children. It's a maternal instinct thing.... ;)

At almost any store you can strike up a conversation.

Museums and art galleries are good places to strike up a conversation also.

Starbucks and other coffee shops are great places to test mones.

I don't know of anything besides work and day to day stuff but I want to try to go to a clothes store and have a hot one help me match some clothes and see if we can end up in the dressing room together.

I had that happen in my early military career and pretty much had to push her out. (Damn low testosterone issues and social disorder I would say)
