Very interesting, I had read this article before, I definitely believe it. I think we have so much untapped potential as humans.

I'm reading about people that live on 100% raw pure clean diets and how they vibrate at a different frequency. I'm thinking about going 100% raw, even if it's only for a month or two, just to see what happens.

According to Sheldrake (and I think he is right) the statistical evidence for a small but important telepathic effect is quite strong.

It makes sense to me that longer hair strengthens one's intuition.

Like the documentary "The Secret Life Of Plants" ...where a scientist, who had an EKG connected to a plant, discovered (by accident) that the EKG needle went off the charts when he thought about burning it [the plant]. The plant was aware of his intention! He strongly believes plants have a form of telepathy.

Had a good friend start believing she was alien after 7 months of the raw food diet. She had to be committed. Doctor said lack on nutrients fucked her up. So be very careful to get all the nutrients you need while on the diet.

After keeping their hair for so long and having it cut will have the person feeling weird about it and that might affect their performance. The Samson reference is about strength and article is about six sense, it's a poor example.

Ah, we return to the root of the problem of moderns. One can always find reasons to explain away anomalous patterns between reality and one's world view, and often they may be reasonably compelling reasons and on the other hand it may be better to let sleeping dogs lie and not to experience the crisis of having to change one's world view. But if one is sincere in pursuing truth, wherever it may lead, one must not stop just with a possible explanation. Is it not rather likely that the army of all people might have imagined the weirdness of having a short haircut might have put people off their game, and that they might have taken steps to consider ways to account for this? I think it is not plausible that the army did not have the same idea you did. That said, I would not wish to push this point too far. Their is little documentation for the claim. It's just that I suspect they are on to something.

Of course most of the people in this forum believe that invisible, mostly barely discernible by scent, chemicals can somehow draw the attention of attractive women from across a crowded room. So perhaps in theory, according to the conventional way of looking at it, we are a terribly gullible bunch of people! Practically speaking, what does that say about most peoples' conception of rationality??? (Bear in mind scientists didn't really believe human pheromones existed until relatively very recently - much longer after, for example, tacitus had been using pheromones).

With regards to Samson in particular, might I suggest that you consider the importance of metaphor in writing - until just a few decades ago. Strength might not just mean purely anabolic physical muscularity.

If they were told from young that their hairs hold special powers and had their hair suddenly cut off you can guess the outcome. Such Beliefs are bound to exist in traditional tribes.

Anyway if the hair theory were to be believed then i would relate that to the tiny hairs that cockroaches have on their cerci which acts as an antenna when there is movement in the wind causing it to panic and flee. Could be the same mechanism.
