Very impressive to lose that much weight.

Do you notice a difference in how women treat you and respond to you now that you are at a healthy weight?

It's just cognitive dissonance on their part. Your success threatens their self-image, so they seek to rationalize it as fatphobia.

Considering a cult is taking over the world, I'm wondering if I committed a mortal sin by congratulating warcheese on his impressive weight loss.

According to the new rules of society I think I was supposed to encourage him to gain the weight back instead.

@Warcheese: That's quite impressing. Congrats and hope you get to whatever goal you desire. While not quite at your weight as I'm likely shorter than you, I had lost nearly 100 pounds in the last three years, though recently I put about 15 back on which I'm working on shedding. It's a never ending battle nonetheless.

It's funny this topic came up as I had been seeing various videos on how women discriminate against guys are aren't "the 6's", being 6 feet tall, have a six pack abs, a six figure income and at least 6 inches "below the equator." On the other hand, the gals act all butt-hurt when a guy isn't attractive to women who pack an unhealthy amount of girth to them. They, if they really wanted, can do something about that by easily attainable diet and exercise. A guy who's lacking height (or hair for that matter) can't do much about those, realistically speaking.

My Current Stash: Moved to the bottom of my journal's first post as it's too long to fit as a forum signature.
