True, celebrity status can give one a liberal quantity of eager and willing fans that are into what you are rather than who you are; but that can readily lose its luster.

All the big-time celebrities that I've known get just as insecure and tongue-tied as anyone else when they encounter somebody they're into that isn't impressed by their status. Of course, the abundance of fans throwing themselves at them gives them an abundance mentality for sex, so they're more at ease with approaching; but for finding somebody that appreciates them as a person, they are actually at a disadvantage. That's why most famous people hook up with other famous people for more than a fling or a one-off (not to mention that other people that are in the entertainment industries have a better understanding of the rigors and schedules of that career path).
