Sheriff Paradox, I understand what you guys are saying, but you can't just come and tell people where to place their post, and whom shall be welcomed in a thread... Married or not. It's just not your place and you need to know your place.

It's more of the manner in which you come off. Yes you do come off offensive. Now, I do like the drama here and there, but remember, we're like one big family here and we definitely should be helping each other.

I've been attacked twice since I've been here, but handled myself accordingly. I could have chosen to fireback with offensive material, but I chose not to. I laughed to myself and wondered, "why are people so mad??"

Use that attitude for the trolls! Definitely not for someone as worthy as Androcles.

You have brought up a good point. A girl with a boyfriend / husband will not always be willing to meet up, but she may be willing to send nudes. However, even in that case, I would argue that if she's talking to you then she's dissatisfied with her relationship in general and, if it is your intention to do so, you will be able to have your way with her in person.

Cos it happened to me a coupl'a times in real. I got laid with her and then later on I find out that they have a bf/husband.

If I know at the time of me hunt, I leave'em alone. But if I don't, then find out later on, I'll be honest with ya's fellas, I don't feel guilty.

Some aspects of pickup will never change - Womens basic attraction will need to evolve significantly for that to happen and once that kicks-in, well - much is forgiven.

Everything that helps ensure you present the most attractive and confident face to the world will remain good. When you get that sorted, the value of rote stuff/mind games etc fade right away.

I don't understand all the clamoring about Pickup being dead. I think men have done a fine job getting out of the oversized t-shirts and making themselves look like they give a shit. Pickup to me, at the time it unfolded, was really not that big of a deal. As long as your target isn't super intelligent or didn't do her thesis on pickup, I think you should be fine. Makeup and fuzzy hats definitely would be a dead give away, too.
This generation (Millenials) doesn't give a shit about pickup. Their lives are too important to care about the direction the men at the bar are all following to try and socialize with them. Pickup may be dead as a passion because, like said prior, the curtain has been pulled and its all rehash. But that only really affects men. Women still wouldn't know if a push and pull routine or the cube or the 5 lies game was happening and still wouldn't give a shit. They are generally self centered creatures and really don't have time to think that much about it.
Then, there's the time gap: the Montel episode or anything about the major PUA books is back underground. Nothing like that has been talked about on a grand scale in a pretty long time. This was before Twitter and the social media craze.
Truthfully, taking the basics from PUA and just understanding attraction have been the best things I've learned from anything PUA. Being a man and acting as such has truthfully been the game changer for me and my game. It has also helped me to solidify myself as a man, and more importantly an individual who could give a fuck about things I can't control.

Interesting topic, IMHO
The state of pick-up is just as live and thriving as it was since the beginning of
civilization.
As for the PUA community which is also a very vast community with different teachers teaching different methods. I do sincerely believe that the time of
running canned routines and pre-recited lines are very much over.
I think people stared to notice that even if a canned routine does work, the routine
always has a ending and what comes after the routine is when it really mattered.
Now routines aside there is also some very interesting and powerful techniques like push-pull but most teachers are not very good at explaining how to do this.
A lot of PUA teachers IMO are good at getting girls but might not necessarily be good a teaching someone. Not everyone knows why they are good at something and; when that someone tries to explain why; he might not come across the way he meant it to.
When it comes to becoming good at getting girls i think its very simple.

The problem with the PUA industry is that these guys spend way to much time showing too much interest too soon. Perhaps it works for them because they are so good looking.

In the last 3-4 months of online dating I did a little test.. I contacted over 150 9's. Out of the 150 9's I contacted I used everything from Speed seduction (In my opinion the creepiest ) which freak a LOT of women out include the bullshit instantaneous connection pattern, Tehcniques from Richard la Ruina (The head of puatraining.com), whose texting comes across as showing WAY too much interest building comfort and attraction.

The few women I had dates with I all secured using what I call VANILLA method.. Its called building rapport through meaningful conversations not PUA game. The techniques that worked the best with getting these women on dates was showing attention then taking it away.. Sometimes for weeks or months before reconnecting. Rarely did I ever get women on dates without hearing at least 3 or 4 no's from them first.

Even Chase Amante's techniques came up short.. I found with his direct approach to securing the date I was being called alpha aggressive and causing a lot of women to block my profile.

In the end what I have learned is that the more you try to impress a woman the lower your status... The more comfort and attraction you build the more you lower your status and the more you raise a woman's.

Now I consistently get dates with women online... some of the hottest women... and the one's I've secured all had one thing in common, patience, persistence, and being assertive. No PUA game needed.
