Just thought I'd let anyone know who is interested that The Fragrance Shop is having a buy one get one sale for Mother's Day. You don't have to buy a woman's scent to take advantage of the sale. (I didn't have to but Mom is getting 24k which she always liked).

But mothers day was about a week ago is it diffrent in other countries? Like let's say aprill fools ;D that doesnt happen in april in some countries

In the United States Mother's Day is always the 2nd Sunday in May.

Anyone has experience with any of these fragrance from TFS?
Creed Aventus/GIT/Millesime Imperial and Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille.

Care to share your experience? Also, how long can 1/2 ounce last you if you wear it everyday 2 drop each day.

I don't have Millesime Imperial or GIT yet but Aventus and Tobacco Vanille smell EXACTLY like the originals, with the exception that they may smell even richer over time. The alcohol base of the originals does alter the top notes just slightly but the scent of both are amazing.

My bride to be tells me I smell like Chai tea when I wear Tobacco Vanille (good thing she likes chai). I did notice that for the first 2 weeks or so that I had my Aventus the scent didn't seem to last more than a few hours. They must have JUST mixed that batch because now (a month in) the scent lasts literally into the next day. Same with the Tobacco Vanille. The scent lasts forever and the sillage on both is excellent. A little goes a long way.

2 drops a day with a half ounce will last you a very long time. As in a year or so (in my experience). As an odd coincidence, my Green Irish Tweed should come in the mail today and I can chime in on that later.

Green Irish Tweed is AMAZING. It smells like they searched out the best batch of GIT they could find and reproduced that. My lady also really liked the scent and it is important that she enjoys it.

Hey man, do you think you could expand on this? I have oils from the fragranceshop too, including Aventus and Tobacco Vanille. The Vanille has good longevity but the Aventus only lasts a few hours like you said.

Do the oils increase in longevity the longer you store them or something? Is there a specific reason for this? Would the same apply for oil based pheromones?

I can also vouch for their GIT. By far my favourite of the scents I have, quite the compliment getter.

Yup, in my experience (and I am not sure the chemistry behind it) the oils seem to get more potent the longer they sit. My GIT doesn't last more than a few hours but if I let it sit a month or two (obviously I'm still going to use it in the meantime) it will have the same longevity as my Grey Vetiver, London and Tobacco Vanille. I think it really matters how recently they just whipped up a batch.

Hmm makes sense I guess, thanks for the reply. Just took advantage of the sale and got myself:

Green Irish Tweed, Burberry London, La Nuit L'Homme, A* Men, YSL M7 and A&F Fierce. All 1/4 ounce bottles.

Have you had any experience with these?
