I've ordered several samples from the Fragrance shop, figured I'd put thoughts here instead of just journal.

Just put some of this on...It smells like soapy tea. Trying to give it a chance and see how it unfolds, but not a fan so far.

Crap. originally had it in the title, but decided to change the title for all the samples..

Bulgari for men type. I'm not even sure what it would cover well.

Actually, I'm not sure any of the samples will cover well, just becasue I'm using such minute amounts of it. They seem easy to over power. Feels like I'll need the dry oil or something similar to keep stronger mone scents from overpowering. Could be wrong though.

When using the samples - remember you need about a good 2 drops of oil to have a sense of what it's going to do on your skin.

You may well need the dry oil underneath - I did that all Friday/Sat/Sun and again today - and it's making the perfume oil and Mones last longer for sure. I used just the perfume oil last week by itself so I can see a real difference in the application protocol.

The oils bloom really different on me - somethings on the complex scents - I didn't like the top notes but but the time it got to mid-range and base notes - I love it.

Stella is one of those - top notes on me are sharp - but one past the first half hour - it's all warm and ambery YUM.

On the other hand - I got the Bal de Versailles sample that is supposed to be an animalic historical masterpiece on many and goes soapy on the rest - and sure enough- I love animalics and it went CRAZY on me. First soap - then I smelled poop - not sex - POOP. Who wants soapy POOP? Not I said the fly.

Bal de Versailles? OUT. Hence - the sampler.

My Best,
Shelly B
