With depp's face marketing 2015 sept release I went out and got a sample of savauge

I happened to be wearing am in l&s and thought wtf I'll cover it.

Be warned a 55 year old menopausal woman opened me and acted like she wanted to rape me lol

Turns out savauge has hedione in it!!!

Did I just fuck up my am app lol!!!

Do not buy this H SAVAUGE unless you want grannies to rape you..

Usually women over 45 don't even look at me with am on now this!!!

You didn't know Sauvage had Hedione in it? That's probably the most well-known Hedione-containing fragrance there is - pretty surprising.

Most designer fragrances will contain some amount of Hedione in them. Go niche if you want to avoid this.

Any more new experiences using Sauvage as a mone cover? I'm interested in getting it and using it for cover since it has epic longevity and projection on my skin. Like, seriously monstrous. Does the Hedione interfere with your mone apps?

Just a FYI for anyone reading this. dsouza is talking about the new Sauvage (black bottle), not the old "eau sauvage". I smelled a couple of months ago and I liked it. It was strong so maybe a good mone cover.

I've seen analysis charts from both Sauvage and Aventus. Lots of Hedione, Iso E and an overload ofAmbroxan in both, nearly the same amounts. The same goes for the heaviest fixative/musk, which is ambrettolide in both. A poor man's Aventus if you will (or better, a less rich man's).

The original Eau Sauvage from way back was one of or the first fragrances to use heavy duty hedione and was reported to be an infamous lady-slayer back then.

I sampled this and at first, I liked it. It didn't seem to kee the scent and changed too much for me at dry down.
