just downloaded chrome to rule out a browser based issue, and it's doing the same thing. chrome, iphone, and pc all refusing to show new messages in at least that thread.

OK, I'm going to subscribe to a couple of threads and see if I can replicate the issue, because what you guys are experiencing is really odd and should not be able to be caused by the software, but enough of you are having the problem that there is clearly some sort of problem that its time to get it figured out and fixed.

seems to happen to me mostly in AS3's journal, Shelly's journal, and the uh...what are you wearing today thread. That said, it has happened in my journal and other random threads as well.

Thread length shouldn't mhave anything to do with it, as posts are stored in the database and the threads are dynamically generated.

I haven't seen the issue of posts not showing up yet, but finqally did have a reply I made post twice. I think that could be to replies being submitted from 2 people simultaniously though and will take a look at the timestamps in the database. If that's the cause, thee may not be anything I can do about it.

It's happening right now in the what are you wearing today thread and AS3's journal. AS3's journal is even funkier. I got notification of AS3 responding to the thread. Click the link, nothing. Post a response, and it double posts, but also reveals AS3's previously hidden response. I delete my duplicate post, and now several of the last few posts are no longer visible to me. This is really strange.

Ok so deleting a duplicate post seems to be triggering something. Two threads in a row where replies were not showing up, I posted to see if that would reveal them. The post double posted, I delete the duplicate, and then several replies become invisible again.
