In post number 5 of this thread, Thundr posted a comparison of the contact us pages. There was no mention of steve or xs at all in the contact us page for this liquid pheromones company. If there was at the time of the writing earlier today, there would have been no discussion about whether or not it was or was not another XS site in disguise.

Conveniently, upon reading it now, there is plenty of mention of both steve and xs. Interesting isn't that, how it just magically changes tonight after this thread started trying to figure out what the heck is going on. They have the same address people, there aren't two companies, the only difference is price, label, and website.

But, as was suggested earlier in this thread, if you think there's a difference, by all means go pay the prices they are asking for and tell us, is there a difference?

Basically the same cars, with different trim. Except the cars on the right are quite a bit more money. Its called Marketing.....

Are they dishonest? Or is it just business?

Hey Alpha Vitea did you see that post, I'm not bashing you but those two sites have the exact same Phone number and address in Tennessee that is straight factual evidence.

Sorry Pheromones are not car companies. I could look up the actual term for the fallacy but I'd rather save myself some time. Your comparing cats to dogs they are different industries and have different things going on. I'm not sure how comparing a pheromone company to the auto industry covers up the obvious ethical dilemma of hiking up the prices of a product.

LL, all I was saying is that its a very common marketing technique across many industries...here are few more:
Beer, booze, wine

Pharmaceuticals-brand name vs generic

Clothing

Food- someone already mentioned that

All over retail really.

Buyer beware I guess.

Whatupbra, you are right, it is Nissan. But you get the idea. I like PXS stuff also. At least the few I've tried (evolve, cohesion, bliss)
Evolve is my favorite, but I have trouble covering it. Bit stinky..

I'm the biggest xs fan but I still don't exactly like this. I'd love steve to chime in or someone to contact him. If the paypal payment address is the same then I'd be worried.

I understand where your coming from. You are correct those are all industries where it does occur. I think the comparison is a little over simplified for two reasons.

1. The products mentioned are normally tied to actual locations. Meaning you can go to a mall and buy something or you can go find an outlet store that's further out. Is Liquid Pheromones that fancy place in the mall and PheromoneXS that outlet store in the middle of nowhere

2. People go to some places because of the quality and pricing points of those goods. Is Liquid Pheromones for the more affluent customer with money to burn while PheromoneXS for the bargain buyer

Even if it is marketing, how does that make it okay. Because other people do it, does that make it ethical?

XS=10ml @ $34.99
Love Potion=30ml @ $71.96
XS 2x15ml-30ml @ $92

Oil
XS=10ml=$69
Love Potion =15ml = 99

There is very little price difference, Love Potion's are mainly the larger bottles 30ml and 15 ml, where as XS are the smaller ones.

I don't see an issue with the pricing, except that if you want to go big it's slightly cheaper to buy from Love Potion.
