I'm trying to upload some screenshots to my journal as part of a tutorial for creating subs, these are JPG but the only facility to add an image to a post is via an external URL.

Any ideas?

Use the Reply function instead of the Quick Reply. Below the subject box is the option to upload attachments, click that, select the photos to upload, then insert them into the post.

Would it be possible to include this function through PM as well? It tends to be far more time-consuming uploading the image to another site as opposed to switching to email and sending an attachment that way.

Just google upload photos. There plenty plenty of websites that can upload photos and generate a url for ou for free without registration. Good luck

He asked his question 2 and a half months ago. Not only Mark, the admin, gave him a solution but even jb20's reply is helpful. Not sure why you revived this with a "just google upload photos" when jb20's reply was much more helpful than that. Not attacking you but I notice you keep digging through old threads. Which is fine in some cases because the discussions started before you joined the forums, so you are simply adding your inputs and whatnot. But in other cases, such as this one, I don't see the purpose.

I suspect he and Trojan Magician are posting like gangbusters to try to find the magic number that gets them into the Journals section, not realizing that it doesn't work that way.

I am sorry. I didn't realize the post was that old(2months) as it was the second or 3rd thread in the section!!! I don't see how it's such a big deal. And also I see it bothers you so much. I tried to delete it but I don't see q function to do.

Also I didn't know a thing about the journal section. You guys make it sound like a real huge deal. I don't even know why. Really first time among the forums that I get attacked real bad like this. It seems like I can't ask any questions nor replie to anything
