Time for some new fragrances
04-23-2010 2:30 AM

Well, my GIT is almost gone, and I'm considering mixing up my cabinet a little bit this Spring/Summer. I was thinking of going for another 4 oz bottle of GIT, but I'm entertaining the idea of a smaller bottle and one or two others for variety.

A few that have been mentioned in places I've looked have been Sexual by Michel St Germain, Le Male by Gaultier, and Himalaya by Creed. Anyone have any thoughts on those? What about other frags? My criteria right now includes being appropriate for warmer weather, ideal for work, ideal for nightlife, and reasonably exclusive (as in not what everyone else is wearing, i.e. Cool Water, AdG, and D&G). These aren't all-inclusive, as I'm fine with more situational-specific colognes. For example, something that works well for nightclubs, but not necessarily for work is fine. It's why I'm looking into several choices.

Thanks, guys!

Hey data. You might like Giorgio Beverly Hills for Men. It's an awesome cologne and women love it. It's not very prominent because you can't even buy it in stores now.
You can check it out here:

Himalaya smells very nice and I get a lot of compliments on that one. Pendragon from Love Potion smells similar to Himalaya if you want something more Artisan. Original Vetiver from Creed gets me TONS of compliments all the time and is very appropriate for Spring/Summer. :shy:

Thanks guys. Got some samples on the way. I couldn't find one for Giorgio, so I might get a small decant of it to check out.

Hmm... that's 2 suggestions for Love Potion products. Do they offer sample sizes?

Quite a few of their products are available in sample vial size. My personal favorites from there (that get me TONS of compliments) are Excalibur, Merlin's Blend, and Pendragon although some of the less traditionally masculine scents also get a lot of attention from women.

Want to add, if your getting samples. Try to snag 'Woodland Man', it's phero enhanced with Turn Up The Heat from AD. I swear that stuff is like glue, cuz I can't peel myself off of TT, when he wears it!
