Rive Gauche Pour Homme is an excellent choice. I'd also look at Sartorial by Penhaligon's, Invasion Barbare by MDCI, and Original Vetiver by Creed. The barbershop scent has been re-interpreted countless times - the number of options are endless.

You inspired me this morning for church. I got out my EOs and put a few drops of fractionated coconut oil in the palm of my hand and added:
1 drop frankincense
2 drops white fir
1 drop peppermint
3 drops of lime and
1 drop of lemon

Very barbershoppy...might should have used lavender or even jasmin instead of the frankincense, but I was going for a woodier effect. The peppermint gave a nice tingle to my fresh shaved skin too.
