I say this suggestion to you and all other vendors, also coming from a business perspective. It's alright to give samples of products. Hell personally, I only ask vendors for the ONE, at this point, that I want to try out the most out of their line up after what I got to make sure I can vibe with it, and every vendor has been more than accomodating.

You, as well as other vendors, should limit the amount of samples to 1-3 samples per order maximum. I don't know who requested a sample of every product, but that's downright rude and inconsiderate. Some people on the forums think they've earned/deserve the right to abuse some of the vendors, and it's getting annoying. There are too many new people on the forums that come in, get what they need in terms of information, and get out. I'm fine with people coming, learning, and helping, but it's getting too selfish, and I think that vendors have to reciprocate to get the message across.

Plenty of us already know how wonderful you guys are as people, and as vendors. Hell my order was shipped out 3 MINUTES after I placed it, which to this day makes me surprised. It's shit like that which spoils us, but in a good way. Sample limits will ensure that people pick out the products that they are interested in, and it'll force repeat buys, if they want more samples, instead of hoarding one sample of every product for a while.

From your perspective (vendors) increased business keeps you happy, and keeps us happy as customers. From our perspective, the less we piss off vendors, the less we have to deal with repurcussions (in extreme cases), and the better the community evolves.

I'm surprised you even filled that order, honestly, if I was in your shoes, I would have sent them their original order, no samples, with a letter explaining that they've been blacklisted and can no longer ask for samples, and if they do, no products. You did lose one customer, but you've taught them a lesson that'll serve them down the road.

Different scents?! Come - the FUCK - on. The more I type, the angrier I get. Fuck that man, in your shoes, I would have cancelled the order, refunded the customer, and asked them not to order from me. You've got enough of a positive backing to do that, especially after explaining to us the situation at hand.

Steve here's a thought - those little 1ml or smaller perfume sample vials that I get from scent vendors and such - would it be easier for you to take the scent package and stock those for 10ml/15/... size dosings and then ship them so folks who want scent or no scent could just dump the scent package into the mones bottle themselves, or just use unscented mones and dab the coverscent seperately? This may be a timesaver and a great compromise, just a thought. And would certainly save time in the batch making process to keep the mones and the scent separate. Just a thought, maybe a way to kill two birds...

That is possible and has been thought about, The question then becomes would you really want to pay an additional $5 to $10 extra for a scent? Its all extra work, extra materials and someones got to pay for it. It doesn't actually save time to have to make hundreds of little bottles and to boot different sizes. On that for it to work you'd have to send one of each for every single bottle they order so the price then triples.

Just not doable. I appreciate the feedback but again my focus is on making products that work not micro managing samples and scents. Customers have the option to add them like at every single pheromone company. They either want them or they don't. Really the way I look at it is if samples become the focus of my day there is a very easy solution. NO SAMPLES! I understand completely why Chris doesn't offer them.

Ha yes Steve - the hobbyist has to be fed so you don't get lost in the mechanics of the business drudgery - defs keep it as simple as makes you happy so you enjoy doing this for us! You are making remarkable progress, please do draw the line in the sand to set your own levels of happiness and effort and make sure the clamoring hordes stay on your side of that good line! We appreciate your hard work and very much want you to continue!

I agree. You provide samples on your own accord as do Garry, Mara, etc. This process is wise as it helps to promote your products... I, personally, have never asked for a sample, yet absolutely appreciate as well as acknowledge the generosity re: my orders.

Samples should not be requested (especially in multiples) nor expected. Anything extra should be bonus!

I think a decent policy would be: "You are allowed to ask for one sample per full sized bottle ordered". If I recall correctly, I think Chris and Amara may have a similar policy.

It's fair on the vendor and still great for the customer who gets what they ordered and at the same time can trial out something they are curious about.

Does Alpha Dream provide samples? I have now ordered 10 bottles from them and never received a sample of anything. Just curious.
