Rate our new scents for Men

This is a poll for your favorite scent for men, based on the Alfa Maschio formula. Please rate your favorites! Only one choice, pick your favorite of them all! If you like more than one, please post about all your favorites in this thread. Please also share your thoughts on each scent in this thread.

As the formula is Alfa Maschio, if you would like to review Alfa Maschio in of itself please do this in a seperate thread. This thread is all about the scents.

Thanks guys! I appreciate your help very much...

~Chris

RE: Rate and review our new sample scents!

Hi Chris,

I received the samples yesterday. Thanks again for the opportunity to test these. I do believe I smelled an Imperial Millesime type so I will be testing that one first. I do have a question. Since these scents are in the AM mix, how many sprays would it take from the tester to match what would come out of a normal bottle of AM? Im sure the spray heads release a different amount of volume. I figure I might as well give AM a proper review while I am testing the scents. I just want to be acurate about the dosing. Thanks again.

Sample A: Went on with a waft of woody vanilla, a hint of pine. Dried down to a mellow vanilla scent. I didn't love the scent but I found it somewhat pleasant and not offensive. I'll consult the wife when I get a chance Smile

Sample B: I love this scent's fresh green tea & citrus top notes, but it dried down to a leather scent that ended up being a little more cologny than I might have liked.

Sample F smells very close to a Creed scent. It contains that very nice "inky" money like scent. It dried down to a very fresh, soapy, masculine smell. The projection of this one is a bit weak but I really like the scent.

Sample C: A little powdery. Kind of reminds me of La Nuit De L'Homme. Rather nice.

I find sample B to be a bit floral. Especially after dry down. This scent could be uni-sex. I dont find it very masculine. It also seems to dissappear after an hour and a half or so. Longevity and projection are not a strongsuit of this scent. Im not very fond of this one.

And I agree with dbot, you do get tea leves but the dry down is vey ferny.

Sample E is my favorite of the scents. The scent was very powdery upon application but after the dry down, it became a fresh, clean scent. I received a few compliments from women at work while wearing this scent. I'd prefer a muskier, spicy scent but prefer the scent of Sample E out of the entire pack.

I spent the entire day with Sample B. This scent does not seem to hold up at at all. I did not notice anything that would prove that it had good sillage. The scent stayed close to the body and all but disappeared from the skin after 2 hours. There were no compliments received. My friend gave it a whiff and expressed she really wasnt a fan of it.

Sample D: I think this is my favorite so far. Nice mellow scent with some green and woodsy notes. Maybe a little on the sweet side.
