Sample D tested, very nice actually.

Soft-mellow vanilla with a hint of fruit. Easy to wear. Favourite so far.

(Chris: dont worry about my reviews being short Big Grin I've written quite a bit, will post on forum after I've gone through all of them)

Final review... let me test these all again, give them each at least 20 minutes or so to dry down, and catch a serious buzz from all this alpha-juice Preved

First I tried sample D again, and I liked it again. A little over-sweet for the first minute or two, but dries down into a really nice scent. Wish the wife liked this one more. I will admit it stays on the sweet side, though, and she and I both generally avoid sweet notes in fragrance.

Sample E: Sprayed it on and immediately remembered why I washed it off right away last time. Not to my taste at all. I let it dry down for a while this time and it did mellow quite a bit. The soapy greenness gives way to an almost pleasant kind of cardboard smell. Some sharp note still that rubs me the wrong way. E is my least favorite.

Sample F: Very nice scent again here. Clean and refreshing. Almost a little hint of bubble-gum but not too sweet. This may be my favorite. I'll give Sample C a final sniff before I decide though...

Sample C: I changed my mind, this one is my favorite. It actually smells a lot like sample F to me but less sharp. A little bit of good spice in there; a hint of that same bubble gum but not too sweet at all. Even dries down a little citrusy, and you know how I feel about citrus Wink It's a very mellow fragrance and I'm not sure how well it will last or diffuse, but I like the smell of it the best so it gets my vote Smile

I spent an evening with Sample C. This one is very close to La Nuit De L'Homme by YSL. I think the scent is pretty decent. I wouldnt complain if I received a product in this scent. It projected nicely for about an hour and a half or so and then settled close to the skin but was still noticable. I can imagine that this would have decent sillage for about 3 hours. I had hits in a 3 ft range.

Don't set boundaries, discover them.

Hey chris,

so sorry i havent recieved the samples yet. i will be heading to a 2 weeks mandatory (forced lol) army conscription and will only be able to test it after that. My sincerest apologies. I am not too sure why it is taking so long though since glace arrived really quick. I'm guessing it might have missed a flight or something. Anyhow, i'll review it as soon as i can!

Hi Chris, will the old scents no longer be available? And is smoked sandalwood similar to cush sandalwood?
