Why not just hold hydrogen peroxide in your mouth for 5 minutes every morning? That's the ingredient in whitening strips.

I get at least one compliment a day on my smile or teeth from a stranger.

Hydrogen peroxide is 50 cents.

Yes, and strawberries are red and they too seem to be good for your teeth whiteness.

I just came across this video and thought it was interesting to share it here, still have to try it myself.

Yeah, but turmeric is used to stain/dye things yellow. How is this supposed to work?

I'd never heard of strawberries used for teeth whitening. I'm curious what your source is. Is one supposed to eat them or apply them directly to their teeth?

When you look at the video you see the guy taking it in and when you see the result it is amazing, considering the fact I read at WikiHow that using hydrogen peroxide can damage the enamel of the teeth when used in too great quantities, and that turmeric is a herb for internal consumation with no side effects. Just bought myself today some turmeric, one pack for1.8 euro.

About the strawberries, don't know, just read it somewhere, I think it's the acid in them that does the job.

Isn't it bad for your teeth though? Otherwise this seems like something I need to try!

Turmeric is also awesome for your health. I drink some in a glass of warm milk every morning along with some other herbals. Not sure how much it has done for my teeth since I already have white teeth from professional whitening at a dentist.

There are some issues with vitamin K2 inhibition. If you're taking a K2 inhibitor you should at least supplement some back in. Otherwise, you can get arterial calcification in the long run.

It may be bad for your teeth with an insanely high dose.
Since 1998 I've been whitening my teeth with strips (hydrogen peroxide) and on one chapter of my life, maybe a couple months, used carbon peroxide, which is slighter better. It's now more than 10 years later. My teeth look great and I've never had them fall out, never had a cavity, maybe once or twice experienced sensitivity. My smile is probably the most attractive aspect about me, since that's really the only thing strangers compliment me on.

Also, my teeth are crooked, but people are always asking whether I had braces because my teeth are "so straight." In fact, because they are white, or more precisely, because there is little color variation, and also because the shading between the teeth (the lines separating one tooth from another), it gives an illusion of straighter teeth. I think this is because the lines between the teeth are not darker yellow, so you can't see the lines as well. One tooth blends into the other.

I also think it positively affects your personality, because when you have yellow teeth, you smile more reluctantly, and when you smile you feel happier. They've done experiments on people holding a pencil in their teeth to force them to smile (the subjects of the experiment were unaware that the purpose of the experiment had to do with smiling). Their mood improved after holding a pencil in their teeth for 5 minutes.
