I agree with this as well.

I actually liked that contest and would have liked to participate, but i got my eye on that contest a little late considering the time it take from i order from them til i got it and have made enough tests to make an review. But if you have other contest on a later stage, i will love taking part of it.

If you want to make other contests. Maybe it can be a kind of promoting a journal or even review for that sake, to a kind "Of special interest this month" or moving it up to "Hall of Fame" ?

We've had this complaint at other forums too. It's not just this one. I've noticed that I can put a lot of effort into a report, making it maybe a page or two of typed A4 in length, but then only get one or two posts as feedback.

But some people can just write 'Zings! OMG! Instant Shine is the awesome!' and what happens? A thread 15 pages long, nominated for Thread of the Week 10 times, +ve rep points into the stratosphere...

I dunno, maybe it takes an exercise in social dynamics to figure it out. Ever heard of the random guy in the bottom corner of a sports stadium who stands up, lifts his arms above his head and then sits down? He sparks a Mexican wave that travels right around the stadium twice over.

On a different day, the same guy can try doing that again, but this time gets stared at like an idiot and laughed at. Why is that, I wonder?

But this is probly the only forum where i can ask
"What's in P86/FTL/AV etc or what product do you guys think it's equivalent to?"
and get a reply that wont be deleted/banned etc
But if you post on the other forums with the same name as this one,
you may have problems.

This is the place to be.

It may just be that people don't like going into journal territory. For my part, I also usually just hit Today's Posts, so if I haven't been on for a week or so, then I'm not going to see a post from 2 days before, unless someone has responded to it that day. I do peruse the men's journal section sometimes if it pops up in the Today's Posts search criteria.

Yeah I usually just hit Today's posts too. Might be nice if there was a "New This Week" or even "Unread Posts" option somewhere.

I don't know about the whole long report idea. Mostly I would just rather read an executive summary. No offense to any one, but most people really don't write that well, or communicate well in these forums when they try to write term papers.

I thought the same to myself a few days ago. Its been really nice reading all the reports on the single molecules. Chris has made some more molecules available to us so we should see some more reports on the DHEAS and others. I know I cant wait to start testing alpha and beta-THDOC.

Oh, and Im a todays post clicker as well.

Don't set boundaries, discover them.
