And, that shows that you do care and aren't looking to take advantage of the vendor!

That would be the perfect way to go about it.

I know if I was a tester I would be glad to offer feedback but the vendor may not be happy with my writing style or my depth of information. Hopefully, he would gain some useful information from my comments.

Also, if the product works well, the vendor can expect more feedback than if the product works not so well.

I realize you've corrected yourself in a later post, but this still nags on me a little: What you seem to be saying is that commitments and promises don't really matter if "life gts in the way"?

I'm older than most people here, but to me when I make a promise or commitment, it gets fulfilled, because I gave my word and am only as good as that.

i agree that when one makes a promise, he/she should fulfill it at the best possible efforts, if not, don't make the promise in the first place.

I did not know that LoveScent had given a 70% in order to get reviews, did they mention they would like reviews? Is it not good enough that we bought from them? With all due respect to Love Scent I don't want to feel pressured to report. When I buy and pay with my $$$ I'll report if I want to, period. Just being honest.

I had no idea the 70% was in exchange for reviews. I agree it would be nice to do more reviews on Scent of Eros . I just added New Pheromone Additive to my Scent of Eros at 7:3 ratio for the DD#1 mix as I got frustrated last week doing the Lecroy method. I had such a bad work week I have to do a work mix this week or I would test DD#1 all week. I will try and test DD#1 and Scent of Eros frequently moving forward.

The discount wasn't in exchane for reviews, it was in the HOPE of getting reviews. Why else would a vendor sell their products at or below cost?

And Lexy, thanks so much for letting Luv Essentials know just how much you apprecieted their discount.

I do appreciate the discounts, and bought from them. Just bc I didn't write a review, doesn't mean I'm not. They should have asked for reviews if they wanted them, how are we supposed to know? I thought they gave a discount bc they wanted sells! The discount was around the same time as all the other summer sales, from the other companies. ...And I had already reviewed the product, I believe I'm the only female member to review Max Attract Silk, and was the first. And did so paying full price.

I didn't realize that you were the one to write the review on Max Attract Silk, so you're good then. But, I biggest discount I've ever seen before theirs was 50% from Chris, and his was more of a thank you to members for being so good to him. Luv Essentials was more like a pea for members to give them a shot, because they have gotten so little attention here.

Being a business owner myself, I guess I better understand how other business owners think: A 20% or 30% discount is to show appreciation to loyal customers, whilm a 50% or 70% discount is usually selling at or below cost and an attemtp to build business.

In Chris' case it was more like a serious "thanks so much everyone for helping me to get where I am!"
