We have discussed the so-called Hedione-debacle in this thread and a second one titled "hedione" @Scottie. There is nothing wrong with Hedione itself and it can be used alongside Pheromones, I would just not use it in blends. Every other rationale, like Hedione being and Estrogenic molecule and so forth - read: made up nonsense, can be debunked.

You'll have to forgive me I haven't read up on the subject. Just know a few things I have run across. If my understanding is correct Hedione is related to Jasmine in some way. Sorry I don't remember the chemical name ot it. If it smells even faintly like Jasmine I want no part of it. I loathe Jasmine. Why on Earth would I want some flowery foo foo shit? Fuck that!

AHAHAHA! It does have a slightly jasmine scent to it but it is easily covered. H2OHOHOH! From LPMP has Hedione and you really don't notice the jasmine at all. The scent actually reminds me of a richer version of Blue de Chanel.

I'm an Oud kinda guy. Seven of the dozen or so scents I own are Ouds. Give me a spicy oriental or an Oud any day.

Seriously, floral colognes smell girly to me.

Have worn sauvage for a long time but recently,
Over the past year, me started mixing 1 part sauvage
to 3 parts wood, smoky, spicy colognes which tempers
it down.

Sorta reminds me a walking in the woods,
campfire burning, And a small patch few flowers nearby.

Still prefer the spicy/woodsy by itself but like ta
Mix it up once in awhile.

Lots of very cheap priced clones for Aventus from Creed, some of them smells exactly the same but never gets any compliments. So it must be the Hedione in Aventus causing lots of compliments. I had bought some hedione last year, i will try layering some on my wrist before spraying mones to see what happens. I will also add some hedione into my aventus clone (club de nuit)

It's possible but I doubt it. Hedione is so cheap and widespread that the dupes would also feature Hedione.

For a more "effective" Hedione-experience, try High-Cis or High-cis/Standar Hed at ranges 1:2 as BAGreat suggested
