Clean eating in my eyes is avoiding processed food and reducing the amount of refined sugars

More vegetables. More berries. Organic whenever you can.
And protein. Good quality protein. I eat red meat every now and then.

This time last year i weighed 175-180

Today i weigh about the same. Big Grin

I dropped about three pants sizes and have a 4 pack going on. Lol.

I actually dropped down to 158 and have been working my way back up.

I hardly use my microwave. That means i dont buy frozen foods or canned foods.

Im not militant about it but i do notice how my body feels when i eat more junk. I actually feel more joint pain.

How do i feel? Im much more active today and mones or no mones girls are checking me out because i feel fantastic.

Control your blood sugar and fat will melt off.

Baby steps. Just introduce more healthy foods like fresh vegetables. Good foods that dont have their enzymes processed out.

If you take the view of epigenetics and that we are computers and food is data. Then of course you want to get good data.

Of course you want to be the best you that you can be.

5 drops npa will be my standard answer if I dont think you read anything.

Thanx again for the info Paradigm. Good stuff.

Update:

I have been doing quite well and think I have finally broken through my mental wall I built up against becoming athletic or about working out. I look forward to it now and have a lot more energy to burn everyday. I have made it a point to not go near my couch when I get home. I end up being much more productive and know I will start seeing some greta progress soon. I have already started losing weight in some places. I am actually motivated to speed up my results and work out twice a day (which I am starting next week). So strength training days will have 20-30 mins of cardio added to the day and cardio days will be broken up into two sessions of 20-30 mins also. I have a vacation coming up in late June where I want to look good in my vintage bathing suit (50's Marilyn Monroe style). My diet needs discipline and scheduling but it is doing well too. Hope everyone else is doing well! Ttyl!

So, I'm starting this back up. I lost about 8 lbs. before my vacation in late June and then I got lazy after I got back. I had eye surgery and have now recovered (PRK), so I am ready to get into my fitness plans again. I stopped juicing for almost a month and have seen a difference in my body when I don't do it. Although I have been taking tons of vitamins (so my health is good), my skin isn't as clear.

I would love for anyone else to join me! If anyone would like to restart or revamp their programs as well, please feel free to post here and join in.

My program layout:

Exercise: Full Body 3-day split weight training then 4-day upper/lower body split, 2 full days of cardio (45 mins), and 2-3/20 minute HIIT sessions after my WT

Nutrition: Juicing once a day (5 servings of veggies and 2 fruits), no fast food, 1500-1600 calories a day with a cheat meal one day a week (on the weekend), protein at every meal portioned out (shake after ST workouts), very limited processed food, no grains or starches after 5-6pm, 1 gallon of water a day

Vitamins: Raw B-complex, multi, fish oil, flax seed oil, chia seed chews (yes - tons of omegas), Vit. C, Cacium-Magnesium, whey & casein protein, and will be adding raw Maca and Epimedium soon

and of course... 7-8 hours of sleep a night (probably much more on the weekends lol)

Good Luck to anyone working on their own goals, whether you are joining in here or not!

Keep up the good work.
Maca and chia seeds are a staple for me. I add that to a whey protein powder.

Ive been juicing more and fermenting the pulp with some kimchi. Trying to get a lot more good bacteria.

Been juicing beets too. It might be placebo but i feel better playing hockey and also working out. Not as sore.

Really cut back on protein bars because of high fructose corn syrup.

I feel great and if i didnt i wpuldnt be dealing with the stress in my life as well.

Work is a toxic environment because of the impending cuts and re orging.

Thanx hun, sounds like you are doing great yourself Smile
I have heard that red veggies like beets and radishes are excellent for circulation and the blood.
I'm glad you feel so well, I hope work goes a little better!
