That sounds like a fantastic way to compound the depression. SSRIs are some of the strongest pro-depressants in existence. They invent symptoms, nothing more.

Regardless, Androstadienone depression has nothing to do with serotonin. It's all cortisol. Even if SSRIs actually improved symptoms rather than worsening them, it wouldn't help in this particular case.

Not to mention you'd actually have to get a prescription for them. And if you were honest why, your doc would just tell you to stop using Androstadienone . And you shouldn't lie to your doctor.

I dont think prozac invent symptoms. Believe me a few years back i had really bad ocd that messed up many aspects of my life especially social life. Now after taking it for so long i'm functional and happier and more active. I only ask cause I have it

Eliminating A-1 depression can easily be eliminated with the most common drug, Caffeine!

I still avoid Caffeine because I like to keep a good schedule and I stay awake longer than most users.

More often than not, Prozac and other SSRIs have been known to leave users much worse off than they once were. There are much safer ways of treating OCD - Memamtine and other NMDA antagonists as well as Psilocybin and other 5HT-2A agonists. But since this is veering somewhat off-topic, I'll leave it at that.

I've already explained that targeting serotonin is pointless. Unless you take care of the excess cortisol, you're almost certain to have some degree. You're covering up the symptoms rather than attacking the root cause. For someone like myself, who is especially sensitive to Androstadienone , no amount of cover-ups will suffice. 7-Keto DHEA is likely the best thing we have right now, given its ability to block cortisol.

No, you can't. Unless caffeine blocks cortisol (it doesn't), you're only covering up symptoms. That's the wrong MoA to be focusing on with a substance that increases cortisol. No amount of caffeine will target the root cause, therefore it is next to useless.

My personal experience is all the evidence I need to convince myself - aside from anecdotal evidence, it's doubtful you'll find anything at this time. I know what a cortisol response feels like, both the physical sensation and my mind and the rest of my body and the mental state it puts me in. I've experienced this through the use of numerous substances, and it all points back to cortisol. The depression caused by excess cortisol is especially heavy and intense.
