I like cyclomethicone NF, it mixes well with oils for scents, and it is a dry spray it's wet but is dry, but i can't get it to mix with alchohol or DPG to save my life.

The best thing about it (cyclomethicone NF) is that it kills Neroli scent. Even though you can't mix it with Androtics Alcohol, if you layer it on top of AD Neroli, the Neroli scent dissapears.

This is important to me because of my situation. My wife hates me wearing cologne (sensitive to scents because she is currently pregnant), but responds to certain pheromones very nicely. So hiding a dumb scent can really help. Especially for the "PHEROBOMB". Which could hypothetically include getting 50mcg by using 10sprays of 5mcg/spray. Thats way too much neroli.

Alpha-Dream is awesome, i hope to get in on some of this soon. I've a few weeks before the scent sensitivity goes away.

Silicones (incl. cyclomethicone) absolutely refuse to mix with PG or DPG, or anything which includes them. It mixes nicely with alcohol at 15-40% concentration.

We're working on a silicone thickner which has the same consistency of propylene glycol, and same evaporation rate, to create a silicone equivalant of alcohol / propylene glycol.

We're also working on using a silicone which has silanol groups attached, which would make it water soluble, able to be wetted, and capable of mixing with both cyclomethicone and PG / DPG.

So far we're seeing good results with the thinner dimethicone with the consistency of PG. I'll be sending out the samples next week.

hey Chris, I just mixed up a 1:4 of everclear booze (aka Pure Grain Alcohol 190 proof 95% ethanol) and cyclomethicone (blend of penta and hexa cyclo-siloxanes from coastalscents.com) and they separated what appears to be completely!
I've got them on a shaker now, but is there a process or extra ingredient required to get these to mix completely?
I added a few drops of jojoba oil to see if it would dissolve in one or the other, figuring if there was a pure H2O phase then it would go to the other phase, and it just went between them! Very odd, I expected 25% ethanol and 75% cyclomethicone to just mix without problems!

Any help would be great, thanks!

I haven't gotten anything either but I hope it comes next week - next weekend is lining up to be goood for testing, hopefully moving into new apartment and starting my single life so this would be a very welcome addition!
