How does a mone get associated with the wearer if there are other people around who could potentially be the source?

Is there something I can do to make sure the association is made from the mone to the wearer?

Does having a unique or noticeable scent/cologne help (e.g. this smell makes me feel this way, and the smell is coming from the mone wearer, so I feel this way towards the mone wearer)?

I'm trying to understand from the level of, with a made up example, "people subconsciously notice that they feel different after you enter their proximity and assign that feeling to you, so to have your target associate the mone with you, try to get your target to notice you getting closer to her and approach her without other people walking next to you"

The thing about pheromones is that they're a bomb, not a laser. The site is riddled with people talking about how their pheromones worked, but the target associated the feelings with somebody else...either them stealing the cloud or her transposing the feelings to somebody else.

How may one avoid this? Stand out, be unique other than just wearing pheromones, interact properly, and they'll figure it out.
