It could be that you're not familar with the sweeter varieties of tobacco. I was hoping for something more dry and with an edge, but this was quite pleasant and easy to get into. Someone who dislikes the harsher forms of tobacco may still find themselves liking this.

The only sweet tobacco I'm currently familiar with is mint snus, lol.

moe, have you tried Super 2 by LPMP? Can you detect the tobacco in it? It's a very sweet tobacco but I also can't stand it.

Yes I can detect tobacco in some LPMP scents, but none in Pulse or Arc.

That's interesting. The tobacco in Arc is fairly prominent to my nose. I don't detect any in Pulse either.

I've tried Pulse and did not like it. Any scents reminiscent of Wolf or Bad Wolf? I like both of those a lot.

Some say Arc is reminiscent to Bad Wolf scent. Without having tried it, I couldn't say. I do think the DHI comparison was way off, in scent though not so much in aura, in the feeling and associations generated by the scent - those resemble one another, though DHI could perhaps be considered a tad softer.

Neither scent is harsh, rough or overbearing. They're softer, more refined, almost "dandy" scents if you will in that there's a subtle feminine appeal. I say this as a good thing, though it certainly won't appeal to everyone on these boards. And, having said that, Arc is probably the 2nd most masculine Apex scent to my nose (Gold taking first place). I may just have a pickier definition as to what constitutes masculinity and feminity in a mix. Nearly all modern scents have elements of both, never falling at one extreme or another, this even in niche perfumery. A reflection of the times, as it always is.

Doing my own side by side comparisons, Dior Homme smelled much closer to Arc than Dior Homme Intense.

I am thinking of Arc scent for Titan. Really would like something not very strong. I had Core in Pulse and it was the only time I've ever gotten a negative comment about a scent I was wearing. Have also used Wolf and Bad Wolf scents, XS Pepper Nutmeg, and Neroli and Akuto and have liked those.

Am a little skittish of the Apex scents after my bad experience with Pulse.

I use titan with ARC smell. It is really good. It is very light and would go within few hours. Still , it is good.
