You take away tv time for misbehaving behavior.

Positive would be giving tv time or more tv time

I have not lestened to the messages myself, but was told it did contain them.

An example of negative reinforcement would be something like if you were trying to lose wieght and the subliminal message contained phrases like: "You are not going to snack between meals", or " You don't want to eat that second hamburger".

Positive reinforcements are things like: " You are eating less", "You are full", and "You are losing weight every day".

To help clarify: here's a link where he explains negative words/affirmations and you can decide for yourself. I do believe the question was brought up in another place on our forums but I can't remember where.
