That's pretty cool. I only saw it going counter-clockwise for a while and I didn't believe it would switch directions. Then all of a sudden it did. Just to confirm that I'm not crazy, I asked my roommates what they saw. One saw it going clockwise while I did too. So then I thought maybe the video switches every now and then. So while I was watching it go clockwise, another roommate came over to see what the commotion was about, and we asked him what he saw. He saw it going counter-clockwise. That confirmed it for us that the video wasn't playing tricks and then we proceeded to try and flip it back and forth. The first roommate still hasn't seen it go counter-clockwise. I noticed that while I tried to explain what was going on, the video suddenly switched back to counter-clockwise. It was pretty cool. It's interesting to see how the different thought modes feel differently as well.

For me she swung back and forth for a bit then started going counter-clockwise till almost then end, then she reversed directions.


THE FIRST TIME

Then I read the comments on youtube and tried the look at the toe then up thing, and the that time around she changed dierctions everytime I'd look up.

So, I'm guessing that counter-clockwise motion means left-brain orientation?

Keeps reversing direction, I've always been ambidextrous. She does have quite a set of curves on her, doesn't she.

counter clockwise is supposed to mean you are more analytical.

Very cool, the first time through it just randomly switched directions...I thought perhaps the music camoflaged the switch in the video, but after a few times through I could switch the direction at will so I guess it's an optical illusion after all. Predominantly clockwise for me. I would have thought that if it were a left brain right brain thing that it would switch by closing one eye and then the other...not the case for me.

Which eye you view the image through isn't really an indication of which side of the brain you are using. The left side of the brain is the analytical side, while the right is creative, but I'm not sure where optical information is actually processed.

I chose 3. Why did you think I would choose 2? My eye actually fell between the two, but I always lean to the right... heh.
