I was looking for some musks and came across a site and was reading up on smell and the olfactory and came across a video of, olfactory theories do we smell the shapes or the vibrations of molecules.

It was an interesting video that the vibration of a molecule can be found that matchs another and smells the same.

So my take is that up in me nose the molecules are ringing tunes that sends a message to what that  smells like.
