heh, is there a possibility in the future we'll have a journals type area? I like to ramble a lot in my own world... o_O;; I'm not crazy! I swear!

Well, we're not set up for that at the moment. We're still working out the kinks of the day to day operations of the forum. Hang on and we'll see. In the mean time you could create a blog and ramble there...lol. I love your ramblings, Zeph. ...and Selva's, too.

I was actually thinking of reporting various Pheromones rather than doing it in different threads...I feel like I'm making a clutter in the forum lol!

But hey having the freedom to ramble would be pretty sweet too!

It would actually be REALLY easy to create sub forums for journals, if that's what you guys really want. When I found the Blog plugin I actually thought that would be the better route to go. But, if you guys like the idea of journal sub forums in the mens and womens areas, just say say so.

There's a Blogs link in the top menu, just below the quick search function. Click it and you can create your own Blog, which you can make available for anyone to see, or just registered members.

EDIT: You can set your blog as public, or viewable by people on your buddy list only.

Never tried the blog, not sure which format I'd prefer. I'll leave it up the others, is there any reason you prefer one format over the other?

Hey Phya, one difference is that your blog can be made private and only allow access to people on your Buddy list, whereas a subforum visible only to members like the one at PT is open to all members. That gives you an extra level of control over who sees it. Of course it also means keeping your buddy list updated if very many folks are joining and you want to reach the widest audience possible.

Edit: I had to log off to double check this; blogs marked public are visible to guests of the forum. I would assume that makes them googlable.
