I'm just honest and as kind as possible about it, avoid hurting their feelings as much as possible but without lying. I've never used a line.

I don't know if you're aware Marco but sometimes women turn out to be crazier than they let on. They take any ledge of honesty and kindness you offer them and try to use them to climb all over you, especially during a break up. In these cases it might be worth being a bit shorter and blunt with them to get the point across. Source:- tried being nice and honest with my ex, I saw a side or her I'd never seen before, had to get angry and mean. Sad but true. Can't always break up nice, easy and clean on mutual terms you know.

Not that I advocate the use of a specific line, though I'm not sure this is what the thread is specifically about. Sometimes something just comes out of your mouth that's either really right or really wrong for the moment.

Once told a long distance woman that she was a unicorn but what I needed was a good old local horse. That didn't go down well.
