Hello,

I'm a new member of this forum. I want to develop a mone spray for gay men. I've only found one place that sells in bulk and they just want to sell me androstenone but trying to get them to give me a price is difficult. They seem to want me to buy enough to make thousands of bottles when I probably/legit can move hundreds at first. I've got about 100 stores willing to take the product but I don't want to make crap.
I'm putting some good stuff in the spray but there seem to be so many different types of pheremones I'm kind of stuck.
My lab skills are okay, I make lubes and stuff like that now for friends and a few stores, so I can do just about anything. I just don't want to make a product that will rip off the customer.
Reading the forum here I know most of you guys aren't gay but my reading suggests gay men's brains respond the same way females brains respond to mones.
So what is the most killer stuff I could add to knock peoples socks off?

Hi Chris ,

i don´t want to demotivate you ....

but to make a good mix it takes ENORMOUS experience with mones and ton´s of knowledge !

If you´re not a long time Phero - User ... a true enthusiast .. that makes his own mixes for years .. i don´t see the chance to create a good product !

that´s my personal take on it !

But I have a lot of lab experience and I have customers that want it. I just don't want them buying crap. At least if I make it I can put some tweaks in it to make sure they are getting the best.
I mean looking at the prices online for small bottles is ridiculous.

You are right but my ass is kind of hanging out there in the wind on this.

Best of luck to you. I agree with Pago that without your own experience to rely on, you're in a bad spot. I hope you are going to do blind testing. I cannot imagine bottling a mone mix without experience. I cannot understate that. That being said Androstadienone is usually in gay male mixes.

Your best bet would be to contact a pheromone company that formulates custom mixes for wholesale clients, and have them develop the pheromone blend for you.

There are several companies that do so.

Trying to develop a custom pheromone mix, but knowing nothing about pheromones is rather like saying your going to build passenger jets for airlines, but knowing nothing about aerodynamics.

Well I always test all my products so that won't be a problem.

And I've got a source for the Andro. I just have read that some folks have a "down effect" the next day. I was wondering if you guys had already solved that problem or not.

I've already started mixing some things that I think would work. A little silk powder for skin feel, an anti-inflamatory, etc. I'm waiting on my sample of Oxytocin to arrive so I can play with it and see if I want to use it.

While it's true I don't have pheremone experience I've got about ten years of solid lab experience so I think I can make what the the folks want. I just want to make something better than "good enough."

Well I only found one company and I can't even get them to tell me how much the price is. They keep wanting me to order enough to make thousands of bottles and I don't need that much to start. I need hundreds of bottles.
THEN they wanted me to give them my basic spray formula, let them package it for me and then have me buy it back from them! That doesn't interest me at all. I like mixing and bottling and labeling and all that stuff. Why would I give up the best part?
So...
Long story short...
If you know of a company that will sell me a raw blend but let me do the rest of the packaging myself I'd love to know their name.
I agree with you completely that would be the best route. BUT I also don't want to put layer after layer of mark-up on something when I could do the work myself.

If I were you I would buy a few of the other vendors male to male mixes so you have something to test against or just to become familiar with the effects. If you need someone to help you test your product I would be happy to. Male to male mixes are some of my favorites.
