You said that the pepper nutmeg doesn't add to the Wolf scent, but would you say that the two scents clash? If they make fine dance partners, then maybe I go this route. I know DarkLord1 felt that the two scents together wouldn't work out.

My plan would be to go with 2 sprays of Cohesion and about 3 drops of Wolf.

I get the impression that very few here have sampled the FXS scent, while even fewer have tried the musk scent on for size. I believe someone (dejavu?) likened the FXS to an aquatic, Issey Miyake type of scent. That would be like combining the AV and Wolf scent together, which isn't so bad.

I would agree that FXS is similar Issey Miyake. I found FXS to be lighter and not last as long as Sultans Oud. I have sampled fresh musk and I am personally not a fan.

FXS is probably best for a product that doesn't have a high pheromone content and one were you want to use 3+ sprays.

I wish I'd requested a pepper and nutmeg sample.

Maybe this can help.

From Steve: "Last night a friend was wearing this Issey stuff and I was thinking is he wearing my stuff. I asked he told me what it was and I'm thinking FXS is really close to it. Not sure if its the same one but he said Issey Myake or something to that effect."

From Eeyore: "L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme by Issey Miyake blends very well with Wolf, reaches out and lasts forever."

So I guess the FXS and Wolf scents will blend. At least I hope so 'cause I just ordered ACE in FXS and would want to try combining some of Steve's products with Wolf also as an experiment.

I´m by no means a perfume expert, but I would say that they kinda clash. I usually cover that combo with Burberry the Beat, which is high in pepper and covers wolf totally, so the end result comes close to just the cover scent with some added pepper.

Anyway, if there were no mones involved and they were just scents, I would not suggest to mix them. The combined scent is not stinky, and could be worn if needed.

Huzzah! Thanks for those excerpts! Those quotes really put it all together for me. Looks like Cohesion in FXS scent it is. The two scents don't have to be peanut buller and jelly; I can deal with peanut butter and honey.

I just hope that I didn't make an error in my choice of scents. I'm am just hoping that FXS and Wolf scents would work out together so I can use them in a combo (like you, I love Wolf). Hurakan has had great effects using Wolf together with Steve's blends, which is one reason I ordered from Steve (although I think he gets his mones unscented).

A while ago I accidentally scented something with pepper nutmeg already scented with Sultans Oud. Its one of my favorites now and I scent all my personals that way. Its like peppery spice sultans oud:/ lol
