Disagreeing with someone's new age beliefs, critical thinking, etc.

More constructively, I'd say that chronic stress and self destructive behavior are 'negative.'

A negative view. . .

Hmm. something along the lines of "What I do to this body doesn't matter - I'm going to die anyway." I would think.
