Vetiver.

Long time no see!, I just ran across something that just made me immeadiately think of all my phero infused friends. My lovely and talented better half has recently gotten into Doterra EOs. I was excited to see one of my favorite fragrances show up in an EO. Vetiver is a leathery base fragrance in a number of men's colognes and also a wonderful aromatherapy/seduction tool. Vetiver works from an aromatherapy standpoint of of lowering anxiety. This makes it great for guys working on inner game who may be having some trouble getting out of their own heads and into the present moment. It also works to lower anxiety in the target.

Doterra's vetiver is a great rendition. You can put a bit of citrus with it and have a classic English Leather style fragrance. I'm liking about a 3:1 vetiver:lemongrass combo to cover some lighter -mones like androstenol. The vetiver is a bit of a thicker oil that slows diffusion a bit.

Anyway, I gotta run but I just had to drop in and mention this as it is one of my fave fragrances. The last time I ran across a vetiver this nice was Monk by MIchael Storer but I didn't like the tarry oily overtones that cologne had. Finding a vetiver that lets me control the other notes is just exciting.

Creed Orignal Vetiver is one of my favorite scents.
And it covers products like Edge and New Pheromone Additive.
I dont get that many compliments but because its smells a little soapy its a great cover to use when mixing for reapps in a bathroom.

You may be better off wearing nutella, maybe some chick might want to lick it off

Original Vetiver is a nice scent, but I don't detect any vetiver at all in there. Creed claims they use the leaf - it doesn't matter too much one way or another. Good choice.

I've never found vetiver to smell remotely to leather, though I could see vetiver playing nicely next to a leather accord. Vetiver is one of my favorite notes (along with tobacco and oakmoss), and it's executed perfectly in Sycomore.

Tribute8 does a mix of just alcohol and vetiver that I have been thinking of buying but really I should just buy the raw materials and make some of my own!

Intense.

No vetiver in Molecule 03. There is vetiveryl acetate, but, as with most aromachemicals, this fails to capture the complexity of the natural essence. Flat, one-dimensional, but pleasant nonetheless. At that price, I'd go for one of the numerous true vetiver fragrances on the market.

There are many different facets of vetiver, and a good amount of variation from one variety to the next. It's a far more complex material than most would expect.

White Lotus Aromatics is a fantastic source for raw materials, and they sell a number of different varieties of vetiver on their site. I'd personally suggest starting off with the Haitian variety:
