Sounds good. I wonder if there are any downsides to this molecule......otherwise wouldn't everyone want to include it in every mix as a diffusion catalyst? It's not like it's expensive.

Diffusion-enhancement per se is not necessarily desireable. You want a certain diffusion-profile, all compunds in a balanced, harmonious way diffusig in a trail or cloud that can be traced back to you as an originator. Iso-E is viable in that regard but has its downsides too. An IsE cloud hangs persistently over a spot were it had the tim to diffuse. In a club setting, this might not be benficila if you move around alot. Also, Iso-E and Timbersilk are also fixatives. Some molcules will diffuse quicker, some slower- possibly wreck havoc with a mix.

Hedione and Iso-E have a nearly overlapping retention time on MS/GC-graphs .... if, like some speculate AD mixes were impaired by hedione, then likely Iso-E will impair them as well. (If it is premixed IN a mix, not applied shortly before or after and disregarding radarpox hedione-thesis) On the other hand, Core seems to profit from Iso-E so this is all gueswork galore.

From what I understand, smaller molecules fly off the skin faster, with Iso e being a large molecule I assume that Iso e would be the base and mones should be applied on top. Am I correct in this?

I don't think too many, know or care about adding it. Plus if it aint broke. Especially with mone. we seen both ADs Androtics and Alpha Dream try to fix whats not broke. The molecule for me is really very benefitial as a cologne. i dont mind adding it to nude and wolf and such cause i see it mainly as a cover scent.

Ekscentra would know more probably as to why vendors would or wouldnt use it.

I'm not using straight iso. I'm using it as the fragrance it was created as, molecule 01 so it's a cover scent for me. Only a cover scent, Sure in my testing it has some attention getting power but most designer colognes do. I do see it in a slightly stronger sense when rocking timbersilk but again i really only treat the 2 as cover scents. Especially with the thicker oily products.

Ive been using this to save my Molecule 01. It's in DPG, and I like putting it under my mone apps when I'm concerned that it wont last as long (esp if it's spray) and that my skin is dry and will absorb the mone.

Hey BE, i also bought iso from perfumers apprentice. I mixed it with DPG. Do you find it smells similar to molecule 01?

The iso e from perfumers apprentice is from IFF and is concentrated. You are going to want to dilute it.

Molecule 01 is an EDT. This means it is diluted iso e in a carrier like alcohol.

Just depends on whether you like making your own kool aid or buying it premixed.

Core was the bridge between molecule 01 and pheromones.
