I stopped using Androtics products last year, but I miss the smell of A314. I haven't been able to find any colognes similar to it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I thought I found something similar with "Le Male" cologne, but then I realized it smelled more like Akuto than A314.

I used A314 from 2008-2010, if that makes a difference.

Yes the smell is very unique. It's been said that is because of the androsterone but that's false. I have used plenty of Instant Gentleman and pure androsterone from AD and it smelled nothing like A314. I don't care for the smell myself . Would like to have an alternate scent option since I won't part with my favorite mone product.

The scent used in A314 is Akuto, another product I customized with that very scent doesn't smell the same though, so the mones in A314 add something to it.
Androsterone only doesn't smell anything like A314 but it might play a big part in the final scent combined with Akuto and whatever else is in the bottle.

I like the smell of A314 a lot, the efficiency almost as much but I'm not very fond of the price.

I've actually caught the scent of A314 on men commuting in the subway. Not often, but it's happened more than once.

My first thought is always "A314!!!"

Haha. I once smelled Spaceland* on a Best Buy employee and then watched how he was interacting with customers...it was very funny (and interesting) to see mones at work from an outside perspective.

*An old Androtics product containing high levels of Alpha Androstenol with strong herbal scent

As for the A314...I've also heard people compare it to Body Kouros. I don't really smell the resemblance there either.

Hey Universe! Man, you and me both! What a coincidence. I just spent about 4 hours trying to find scents that smell like BOTH versions, (that I know of) of a314.

Just to be sure, are you looking for a scent that matches the Akuto scent? or are you looking for the "Royal oil" scent?

I first used 314 in 2006 when the scent did NOT smell like Akuto. I'm not sure, but I THINK in 2006 it was the Royal oil scent.

If I am mistaken, any vets out there, please enlighten me!

I am looking for something that smells like the "Akuto" version. Never tried the other one. Some folks say that the "Royal oil" version was based on Oud (Agarwood) scent.

In that case, I would suggest sampling some colognes from Montale. They have a lot of Oud scents.

You can get them at luckyscent.com for about $4/ea for a small vial. Or try theperfumedcourt.com, not sure if they carry Montale though.

so ur looking for a fragrance similar to akuto?
My friend has a fragrance that smells similar i think
it been a while that i smelled akuto but the day i smelled the fragrance he was wearing immediately i thought it smelled similar to ammo- akuto scent
I asked what he was wearing and he told me but i forgot. If you want i can ask him again.

took a bit of time but finally saw him asked him and even got a picture of the bottle

he told me his mom got it for him through an avon or fuller catolog
you can buy it on amazon i think its pricey


or 10 dollars more you can get a bundle of that one and wild ocean (don't know what this smells like) so instead of wasting 55 on one you can get two fragrances for 65

i know you can get it for less by buying it from some catolog seller but don't know who
