A very interesting documentary, encompassing different factors in attraction and sex appeal. In part 3 there is a very interesting social experiment which highlights why people of similar attractiveness tend to get together.

Pheromones and smell come up in part 6, where it is claimed that Androstenone tends to repel women in general, but is a potent attractant when said woman is at a certain point in her menstrual cycle. If this is true, it explains why high-Androstenone products can be seen as erratic with regards to hits.

A lot of the formal research has used really high doses of Androstenone, so if someone makes a claim about the stuff you really need to ask how much they're using.

I kinda want to find a scientist who says he believes they don't work and give them some Aqua Vitae dosed correctly. That would be hilarious.

Glace him with 10 sprays and lock him up in a small room with a dozen people with severe turrets. He be a beliver!
Have him use AV, Androstadienone and Glace with a bus full of Nuns would be pretty convincing as well. If you can get hits there you know it works!

Honestly, I'd rather not have the whole world know about this stuff. When you get down to it this is almost a zero sum game.

People know about phermones, just dont belive in them much since its so confusing to find valid information on it. So, it just ends up being thought of as snake oil or a novelty. Even if they knew it worked people are lazy and it would be a fad and die off. I still think the bus full of nuns would be funny =p

Well yeah. There's not much info since its not mainstream yet. If it were legitimized it wouldn't be considered snake oil. That could happen really suddenly with the right push.


I am very curious how a bus full of nuns would react, I admit.
