Testing DHT levels? Enzyme immunoassay tests may be wrong

I know some people on these boards are interested in hormone replacement therapy, or have some health issues related to androgen levels. In case anyone got an Enzyme Immunoassy test for DHT levels, I wanted to post this (Sept 2013) publication which notes that they may be inaccurate.

Quote:DHT concentrations measured via EIA were 79% to >1000% higher than values obtained by LC-MS/MS (p<0.05), with the largest differences (415-1128%) occuring in groups receiving finasteride.
