Ok, BW needs to be steered otherwise people will simply leave you alone.
You need to smile and start the conversation.

Is there something I can combine with BW to take the edge off.

I'm thinking some sort of disinhibiter or something that makes people chatty.

At work I am happy with the respect BW gives but the women simply tend to clam up, I also want to use BW more outside of work in a social setting.

Anyone got any ideas?

With what MMM said. What's your dosage? Higher doses (4-6+ drops) seem to allow the buffers in BW to work better than they would at lower doses.

Dosage is between 3 and 4 drops.

Do you find by taking the ‘edge’ off, it takes some of the respect off too?

I’ve run that combo before but found whilst it works better around women for attraction, it did somewhat dull the respect factor from men.

BW isn't the same without its "Edge". That's the whole concept of it. I would personally look for a different product to use when you are not wearing BW.

I do, however, sometimes add a little (1/2 or 1 drop max) BW to another mix, applied underneath my nostrils, just to ramp it up slightly, or counter the self effects of EST or anything similar.

As the OP, I think I may come off as a bit too much intimidating for some people.

Hence, wanting to take the edge off.

However, I used half a pump of AV gel (apparently 4-5 drops) yesterday at work and didn't seem to frighten anyone.

I've been told before that I have a presence and been turned down for promotion because I was too forceful

Smiling is good, if it's genuine and not forced. And behaving in a totally relaxed manner will relax those in your presence, and that "calm but powerful alpha" vibe will be amplified by the BW.

AV made me too edgy at first, then after a few weeks my body adapted. I adapted to BW straight away. So be patient, give yourself time to adapt to BW before watering it down.
