seems like you're right, according to mercola.com. tan ok, burn no go. aesthetically speaking, someone with a tan looks healthy, but someone with a burn almost invariably has his skin flakes, and i think we can learn a lot just by observing nature.

personally i'm going to get my vitamin d levels tested, because i suspect a lack of vitamin d is causing some neurological problems. we'll see, but i started supplementing 4000IU a day.
