I saw a few posts in the shoutbox about subliminals. Do they work? Are some companies better than others? What's your experience with these?

There's a subliminals recording suite I've thought about buying to make some of these recordings. If the tech works, it would be easy for me as a clinical hypnotist to pick up on how to structure the messages.

Maybe we should organize a test..

I didn't know you are a clinical hypnotist. I've always thought of this kind of stuff as snake oil, but I really don't know anything about it.

Do you think self-hypnosis CDs and Subliminals work? Is there science behind it?

What kind of problems can you treat with regular hypnosis?

And I'm onboard for any test...

Hypnosis definitely works -- there's a 200 year literature describing effectiveness for medical and psychological ailments ranging from warts and asthma to PTSD and borderline personality disorder.

I'm not aware of any similar literature for subliminals, but I'd be willing to give it a shot.

I used Absolute Self Confidence and Be Irresistibly Attractive to Beautiful Woman 7.1. Had some of the most intense sexual dreams during the period I was using them. Effects start to show about 3 months into the sub, 5-6 months later I would get girls saying I am really handsome.

HOWEVER, I am quite disappointed in that it didn't really made women approach me or anything, although the script clearly says it would "approach me and act on their interest and attraction in obvious, aggressive and direct ways"

I would say, use them, but do not expect magic. Books, clubbing and pheromones are still the best in terms of improving your game.

the confidence track as mentioned in the above posts seemed to be doing something for me too but i stopped early because of the ear aches it was causing me.

it would be awesome if we had some way to measure its efficacy dbot
