Hey guys,

I've asked about this before in the AD section but wasn't able to get any conclusive information on mixing silicone with an alcohol based spray. As I understand it so far, silicone has molecules too large to be absorbed by the skin, therefore produces a longer lasting, more even diffusing effect.

However, I have had a lot of bad comments on one of the products which has a silicone base and want to cover with alcohol. How exactly will this affect my results? The product is Alpha Maschio with leather and steel scent.

There can't be water in the alcohol to mix with silicone. Why not just use a different application point? I assume you mean cover with an alcohol based cologne?
