So the other day I'm flipping channels as ones does and I land on BBC Earth - Weird wonders of the world se1 ep8. At about the 45 minute mark they talk about a research project where they were researching what happens during and after two people shake hands.

One of the interesting observations that they realized was that about 40% of the people both men and women subconsciously bring the hand either too their nose or close to their nose. They believe it has something to do with scent and pheremones (the civilized version of dogs sniffing butts?).

I tested this out the other day at a networking gathering. Keeping track about 30% of the people whom I met and shook hands with did the same. hmmm...interesting. (I was not wearing any mones)

So 2 questions for the group.

1) Has anyone else here noticed this ?

2) What type of one - two hit combo could be used to potentially increase effectivness?
