Sex and sleep

Its often been said you need quality sleep for a good sex life. A good 7-9 hrs a night for most people.

In todays society many don't get enough sleep.. if you're older it's even more of a crutch.

Question: if you can't get 7-9 hrs of sleep at night for good sex life, can getting 5-6 hrs at night and 1-2 hrs in the daytime still help your overall hormonal profile and libido ? Or will the hormonal profile only change positively if the sleep occurs at nighttime at one stretch?
