It smells weird, not a scent that I would personally like. The thing with scents is it has to be appealibg to the opposite sex. For example I recently bought an oil from Love potion called Girl Nip that according to reviews women love to smell. Funny thing is it has a chocolate aroma which aligns to the comments on the studies.
That too I don't find appealing but will also compare actual results to those from their reviews once I wear it.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on your EO results with women as well as how women react to Girl Nip. I created that with the idea that women love chocolate. The scent actually started out as one of my Private Editions’ that I ordered so I could wear it and it was so popular it had been rebrewed a few times.

The sample of Girl Nip I ordered contains pheromones, therefore using it around women would not help me determine if the scent is causing arousal or the pheromones.

But I can definitely test it to see of it works at attracting the opposite sex like Girl Nip.

For the EO lavender and pumpkin, I seem to be having trouble with diffusion. The scent is only detectable for about 1-2 hours where it appears to be strong at first for about 30-45 minutes then it sits very close to the skin for about 1.5 hours and fades. Thats is until I exercise and perspirate, there it becomes a faint smell of pumpkin.

Thinking of possibly adding more EO and mixing it into an alcohol base.

Results still undetermined. I'm thinking of taking a more direct approach for the next round of testing.

How long ago did you put your EO blend together? The reason I bring it up is because from past experience with creating my own fragrance blends, sometimes it takes a week or more for everything in the bottle to mix and mingle and get to know each other. After a week or three the scents all meld together and the scent lasts A LOT longer.

I might have jumped the gun. It's only been about 6 days since the mix was put together. Reading some online articles suggested I add some jojoba oil so the EO was diluted some for safe skin contact.

I personally don't use oil as a cover I use regular cologne when I wear mones. But I've been known to add oils to my mixes to help diffusion and only if the scent has potential to be attractive to women.

I actually prefer the oil fragrances over the sprays. I generally favor Love Potion Magickal Perfumerie for artisan and unique fragrances and The Fragrance Shop for any oil based scent replications. I've been very happy with my purchases from both.
