Hey Admins,

did nobody recognize that this is kinda broken?
When i already was here and even read posts, on the main page they are still marked as unread...

Would it also be possible to replace the "Thread functions" with buttons?

Yepp, I noticed that too. It's fine on the 'deeper levels', but on the top level it's still showing unread posts although there are none...

Btw, the auto-merge feature to prevent double posts is kinda cool! :good3:

Unread posts are indicated with a green arrow next to them, and I have never had an issue with them working correctly, nor has anybody else ever mentioned a problem, so I'm not sure why you two are having an issue with it. Unless you are talking about the link in the top banner to unanswered posts, which will show any threads that have no replies.

As to changing the thread functions with buttons, they show and work differently for members, mod, and admins, so that would be a no.

I might be wrong, but I think they might be talking about the ying/yang thingies that darken when there are unread threads, then lighten when you've read all the threads. Sometimes you can read all the threads then when you go to the main page the thingie is still dark indicating unread threads even though they are all read.

If you click the back button that will happen, but refreshing the page should lighten it. If it is still happening, then click the "Mark All Forums Read" at the bottom right and they will all lighten.
