I had this idea to premix my Glace combined with Acqua di Gio 1:1 in a 5ml to go bottle, so that I may re-apply after 7 hours in case I can't get to my house. Will this mess up my diffusion? Will this mess up the Glace? How about if I do this to any other products, mixing a silicone based one with an alcohol cologne or other product... Will I lose the mix? I thought i would asks theses things before I went on and messed up some of my favorite stuff.

No one in here with any info? I am surprised... pause, wait, is this on another thread? That would explain why no one is responding. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction?

Mixed up AM with TL in the same togo. I always shook the bottle before applying and it seemed to work just as well as applying both separately. So yes, silicone + alcohol can work. It even seemed to mix.

You may want to add chris, terry, or pago. I never mix thing together so wouldn't be able to help you on that.

I hate the thought of having to mix these together in a to go for later use, but I simply cannot re-apply mid-shift and both of these lose a lot of their punch at about 6-7 hours for me I guess bc of the 90 fahrenheit here. I usually just separate my application points, Glace on neck behind ears and then use the cologne on my clothes but I will not have access to my stuff at the time I would need to use it. Maybe someone has done this before, with Glace or another silicone based product and got results?

This is still a topic that I'm learning the details of, but the fixatives in perfume could theoretically slow mone diffusion. Practically, I think you'll probably be close to fine. You'll still see some good results. You may need to apply more to get the same effect. You may not. If you don't, the mones which diffuse into the alcohol might diffuse faster or slower than the rest of the mix. As mentioned, if you mix ethanol with silicone you'll probably have to give the bottle several good shakes before use since they don't mix naturally. and it won't look as pretty. I really wouldn't recommend modifying the heavy silicone stuff if you can avoid it. I've never tried with light silicone.

Why not just apply cologne separately from the mones and avoid the hassle?
